The story is based on the life and work of cartoonist Keith Knight, WOKE Lamorne sets Keef an African-American cartoonist on the verge of mainstream success when an incident that isn’t expected by police forces alters the course of events. Part live-action comedy, and part animated show, WOKE is an incredibly disrespectful take on the notion of identity and culture. After many years of playing support characters ( New Girl, The Barber, Desperados ), Lamorne finally landed the role she deserved as WOKE’s principal actress.

The brand new Hulu comedy Woke features two actors which you can view as well as the one you hear. Invisible actors have more power than regular actors however, you must be extremely careful when reading the credits to spot the show’s name. This can cause Woke (released on Wednesday) to appear to be a high-budget animated film, but it’s actually an average live-action sitcom.
