The creator of the film, Don Mancini, is also the showrunner for the Chucky series and directed the first episode by himself. The series examines controversial topics like homophobia at school bullying in the private setting and the challenges that arise for teens to be themselves and express their sexuality.
The underlying aspects of brutality, murder, and enjoyment of violence mean that the show has no time to slap anyone. Because of the plethora of characters, and nearly as numerous deaths and endings, it’s quite difficult to write a review of what the series’ first episode was like. The battle between all the characters in the showdown episode of the initial season was bloody as it should be.
