Meet the Cast of 'Digman! Season 2'

The world’s coolest archaeologists are back for more globe-trotting hijinks in Digman! Season 2, the hit animated comedy where Indiana Jones meets Brooklyn Nine-Nine. In a reality where archaeologists are A-list celebrities, Rip Digman (Andy Samberg) and his ragtag team of diggers, thieves, and adventurers continue their quest for fame, fortune, and ancient relics—while somehow always stumbling into absurd chaos. With its signature blend of irreverent humor, pop culture parody, and over-the-top action, Digman! returns with even wilder adventures, bigger mysteries, and more celebrity cameos than ever before.

This season, Rip faces his greatest challenge yet: staying relevant in a world where every new discovery is a viral sensation. From cursed tombs to corporate-sponsored digs, Digman! Season 2 skewers modern celebrity culture while delivering rapid-fire jokes and unexpected twists. Whether battling rival archaeologists, dodging ancient booby traps, or dealing with his dysfunctional crew, Rip’s journey proves that in archaeology—just like in Hollywood—the past is never really buried.

Meet the Cast

1: Andy Samberg as Rip Digman

Andy Samberg returns as the voice of Rip Digman, the once-great archaeologist struggling to reclaim his fame in a world obsessed with relics and ruins. Known for his cocky charm and questionable decision-making, Rip is equal parts action hero and washed-up celebrity—think if Indiana Jones had the ego of a TikTok influencer. Samberg’s signature comedic timing brings Rip to life, blending overconfidence with just enough heart to make him lovably ridiculous.

This season, Rip faces new rivals, old enemies, and the harsh reality that his glory days might be behind him. Whether he’s faking discoveries for clout or accidentally unleashing an ancient curse, Samberg’s performance ensures that Rip remains one of animation’s most hilariously flawed protagonists.

2: Mitra Jouhari as Saltine

Mitra Jouhari voices Saltine, Rip’s sharp-tongued, no-nonsense partner who actually knows how to do archaeology properly. A brilliant scholar with zero patience for Rip’s nonsense, Saltine is the brains of the operation—when she’s not busy rolling her eyes at his antics. Jouhari’s deadpan delivery makes Saltine the perfect foil to Rip’s chaotic energy.

In Season 2, Saltine gets more spotlight as she grapples with whether she’s wasting her talents propping up Rip’s failing career. Will she finally ditch him for a better gig, or does she secretly enjoy the madness? Jouhari’s performance keeps us guessing.

3: Tim Robinson as Swooper

Tim Robinson (of I Think You Should Leave fame) brings his signature manic energy to Swooper, Rip’s unhinged rival archaeologist who will literally do anything for fame. Whether he’s faking discoveries, stealing credit, or just screaming nonsense, Swooper is the human embodiment of a YouTube algorithm gone wrong. Robinson’s absurdist humor makes every Swooper scene pure chaos.

This season, Swooper’s schemes get even more desperate—think “selling cursed artifacts on eBay” levels of bad ideas. His escalating feud with Rip leads to some of the show’s most ridiculous moments yet.

4: Guz Khan as Zane Troy

Guz Khan voices Zane Troy, the suave, ultra-rich archaeologist who makes Rip look like a bargain-bin treasure hunter. With his high-tech gadgets and Instagram-perfect expeditions, Zane is everything Rip wishes he could be—and it drives him insane. Khan’s smooth, charismatic delivery makes Zane the ultimate hype-man villain.

Season 2 sees Zane taking his fame to new heights, possibly even running for president (because why not?). His rivalry with Rip escalates into full-blown sabotage, with Guz Khan milking every moment for maximum comedy.

5: Dale Soules as Agatha

Dale Soules (Orange is the New Black) returns as Agatha, Rip’s grizzled, shotgun-toting mentor who may or may not have committed several war crimes in the ‘80s. Equal parts wise and terrifying, Agatha dispenses brutal advice and occasionally saves the team when things go south. Soules’ gravelly voice and no-nonsense delivery make Agatha an instant scene-stealer.

This season, Agatha’s mysterious past catches up with her, leading to a Raiders of the Lost Ark-style flashback episode. Will Rip finally learn the truth about her? Or will she just shoot someone instead?

6: Melissa Fumero as Bella

Melissa Fumero (Brooklyn Nine-Nine) voices Bella, Rip’s ex-wife and a far more successful archaeologist. Their relationship is a toxic mix of unresolved tension and professional jealousy—basically, if The Mummy’s Rick and Evie hated each other. Fumero’s comedic chops shine as Bella effortlessly outshines Rip at every turn.

Season 2 explores whether these two disaster exes can actually work together—or if they’ll just keep sabotaging each other’s digs for petty revenge.

7: Tim Meadows as Quail Eegan

Tim Meadows (SNL) plays Quail Eegan, Rip’s long-suffering agent who’s constantly trying (and failing) to make him relevant again. Whether booking him on terrible reality shows or negotiating with ancient cults, Quail is the definition of a guy who’s way too good at his job for what he’s paid. Meadows’ exasperated delivery makes every Quail scene a highlight.

This season, Quail finally snaps and tries to replace Rip with a younger, hotter archaeologist—leading to an all-time midlife crisis for our “hero.”

8: Neil Campbell as Snerdley Tootbottom

Neil Campbell (Comedy Bang! Bang!) voices Snerdley Tootbottom, the world’s most annoying archaeology fanboy. A walking Wikipedia page with zero social skills, Snerdley worships Rip—much to Rip’s annoyance. Campbell’s hyper-nerdy energy makes Snerdley the perfect comic relief.

In Season 2, Snerdley accidentally becomes a celebrity himself, leading to an existential crisis for Rip. Can he handle being upstaged by his own stalker?

9: Jiavani as Doreen Donker Jr. / Skullsnapper

Jiavani pulls double duty as Doreen Donker Jr. (a rival treasure hunter) and Skullsnapper (a cursed skeleton with a podcast). Whether scheming against Rip or ranting about “millennial archaeologists,” Jiavani’s versatile voice work makes both characters hilarious.

This season, Doreen and Skullsnapper form an unlikely alliance—because nothing says “comedy gold” like a villain team-up between a greedy explorer and an undead influencer.

10: David Kaye as Longtooth

David Kaye (Transformers) voices Longtooth, Rip’s gruff, perpetually annoyed dig-site foreman. Think of him as the Ron Swanson of archaeology—if Ron Swanson hated Rip’s guts. Kaye’s deep, growling delivery makes Longtooth the ultimate straight man in a world of insanity.

Season 2 gives Longtooth his own bizarre subplot involving a lost Viking mead recipe and a very angry biker gang.

Final Teaser

With its all-star cast, razor-sharp satire, and nonstop gags, Digman! Season 2 promises to be even funnier, weirder, and more unhinged than before. Don’t miss the premiere July 22, 2025, only on Comedy Central!
