The DMZ show was developed and acted in the hands of Roberto Patino (Westworld, Sons of Anarchy) and directed by Oscar-nominated Ava DuVernay. The show is set in the time that there is a Second Civil War divides America and, during the aftermath, the doctor Alma Ortega (Dawson) loses her son. He believes they’re in Manhattan and is evacuated and transformed into an area of demilitarization.

As Ortega fights the gangs, militias, warlords, and demagogues who rule this lawless, deserted land, he is the unlikely source of hope that all of us have lost.
