Kourtney Kang is writing and producing the new series, while Dayna along with Jesse Bochco, the wife and son of deceased Steven Bochco, who co-created Doogie Howser and Doogie Howser, are in the picture as Executive Producers. Original Doogie Howser was on for four seasons, aired for four seasons on ABC from 1989 until 1993. This show follows Lahela Doogie Kamealoha as a mixed-race 16-year old girl who has to balance her medical career and the normal life of a teenager.
