“Family Law” centers on Abigail an attorney who is a victim of alcohol issues which eventually lead to her being removed from her job after appearing before a judge who was drunk. When Abigail’s behavior becomes apparent to her drinking, her husband smacks them out of their home and leaves her in a bind. To allow the lawyer to return to her profession she must take on a one-year contract with an experienced lawyer.
There is just one person who is willing to risk it: Harry Svensson, played by Victor Garber ( Legends of Tomorrow ) the father who was estranged from his family members when Abby was seven years old, after having taken on the role of secretary. Today, Abby not only has to be working alongside the father of her child but also her siblings Daniel (Zach Smadu) and Lucy ( Genelle Williams ) too.
