Fixed (2025) - full cast & crew

From the creative minds behind The Secret Life of Pets comes Fixed, an uproarious animated comedy that follows Bull (Adam Devine), a lovable, carefree mutt whose perfect doggy life is turned upside down when he overhears his owners casually mention his impending neutering appointment. Convinced this is the end of his freedom, Bull embarks on a wild, last-night-of-freedom adventure through the city, rallying his fellow canine companions—including the suave Rocco (Idris Elba), the hyper-energetic Fetch (Fred Armisen), and the wise but eccentric Molasses (Michelle Buteau)—to help him escape his fate.

Mixing slapstick humor with surprisingly deep existential dread (for a dog, anyway), Fixed explores themes of identity, loyalty, and the things we fear losing—all while delivering nonstop laughs. With a star-studded voice cast, vibrant animation, and a surprisingly touching message about unconditional love, this film is perfect for pet lovers, comedy fans, and anyone who’s ever panicked about adulthood.

Fixed all actors list

1. Adam Devine as Bull

Adam Devine (Pitch Perfect, Modern Family) brings his signature goofy charm and frantic energy to Bull, a happy-go-lucky dog who spirals into full-blown existential crisis mode when he learns about The Snip. Devine’s comedic timing is perfect, whether Bull is dramatically mourning his “future lost puppies” or attempting (and failing) to outsmart his owners. His voice performance captures Bull’s journey from carefree pup to desperate fugitive, culminating in a surprisingly heartfelt realization about what really matters.

A standout scene features Bull delivering a Shakespearean-level monologue to his reflection in a puddle, lamenting his fate—only to be interrupted by a squirrel, instantly derailing his train of thought. Devine’s ability to flip between over-the-top panic and genuine sweetness makes Bull an instantly endearing hero.

2. Idris Elba as Rocco

Idris Elba (Luther, Sonic the Hedgehog) lends his deep, smooth gravitas to Rocco, the neighborhood’s most sophisticated (and self-proclaimed “most desirable”) dog. A retired show champion with a taste for the finer things, Rocco initially dismisses Bull’s plight—until he realizes he might be next on the chopping block. Elba’s deadpan delivery makes every line hilarious, especially when Rocco tries (and fails) to maintain his cool demeanor in the face of Bull’s chaos.

The dynamic between Rocco and Bull is pure gold, particularly in a high-speed escape sequence where Rocco’s refined trot hilariously clashes with Bull’s frantic scrambling. Elba’s performance elevates Rocco from just another “cool dog” archetype into a surprisingly layered character who learns that even champions have vulnerabilities.

3. Kathryn Hahn as Honey

Kathryn Hahn (WandaVision, Bad Moms) voices Honey, Bull’s sharp-tongued but fiercely loyal neighbor. A no-nonsense terrier with a short fuse and a big heart, Honey initially rolls her eyes at Bull’s dramatics—until she realizes she might be able to use the situation to her advantage. Hahn’s signature blend of sarcasm and warmth makes Honey an instant scene-stealer, especially when she’s negotiating with alley cats for intel or putting Bull in his place.

Her unexpected friendship with Bull leads to some of the film’s most touching moments, including a quiet scene where she admits she’s scared of thunderstorms—revealing the soft side beneath her tough exterior.

4. Fred Armisen as Fetch

Fred Armisen (Saturday Night Live, Big Mouth) is unhinged perfection as Fetch, a hyperactive, slightly unhinged Border Collie who lives for chaos. Fetch speaks in rapid-fire, stream-of-consciousness rants, and Armisen’s improvisational brilliance shines as he delivers absurd one-liners with manic energy. Whether he’s suggesting they “chew through the internet cables” or “start a dog revolution,” Fetch is the wild card of the group.

His dynamic with Bull is pure comedy gold, especially in a disastrous attempt to distract a vet that ends with Fetch accidentally herding a group of confused pugs into a fountain.

5. Michelle Buteau as Molasses

Michelle Buteau (Survival of the Thickest, Tales of the City) brings hilarious, soulful wisdom to Molasses, an elderly Basset Hound who moves at her own pace—both physically and philosophically. Buteau’s slow, deliberate delivery makes every line land, whether Molasses is dispensing deep (if slightly nonsensical) advice or complaining about “these fast dogs with their TikTok trends.”

Her unexpected role as the voice of reason in Bull’s mission adds both humor and heart, especially when she reveals that she’s been fixed—and it’s “not that deep, baby.”

6. Bobby Moynihan as Lucky

Bobby Moynihan (Saturday Night Live, DuckTales) is adorably clueless as Lucky, Bull’s dim-witted but endlessly optimistic best friend. Lucky spends most of the movie completely misunderstanding the stakes, cheerfully suggesting they just “ask the humans nicely” to call off the procedure. Moynihan’s cheerful obliviousness makes Lucky the perfect comedic foil to Bull’s panic.

A running gag involves Lucky constantly finding snacks in the middle of their escape, completely derailing the mission—until his snack-related distraction accidentally saves the day.

7. Beck Bennett as Sterling

Beck Bennett (Saturday Night Live, The Penguin) voices Sterling, a prissy, anxiety-ridden Pomeranian who serves as the group’s reluctant medic. Bennett’s high-strung delivery is hysterical, especially when Sterling overreacts to every minor injury (“I told you running was dangerous!”).

His dynamic with Fetch (who treats him like a chew toy) is comedy gold, culminating in a chaotic vet clinic break-in where Sterling has a full existential meltdown.

8. Daran Norris as Napoleon

Daran Norris (Fairly OddParents, Danny Phantom) rounds out the cast as Napoleon, a tiny but tyrannical Chihuahua who rules his block with an iron paw. Norris’s Napoleon complex in vocal form is hilarious, especially when he tries (and fails) to intimidate Bull’s much larger crew.

His cameo as the self-proclaimed “underground railroad for un-fixed dogs” leads to one of the film’s funniest sequences—a Mission: Impossible-style heist to steal Bull’s medical records.
