In the first episode, Gremlins: Secret of the Mogwai was a journey to 1920s Shanghai to shed the mystery of Gizmo’s beginnings. This season delves into the mysterious and intriguing world of Mogwai and told the story of happenings that occurred in the past before 1984’s Gremlins film. The Wild Batch takes this story one step further in its quest for bringing Gizmo and his gang into on the American continent.
The show will see Steven Spielberg returning as executive producer through Amblin Entertainment. Tze Chun, famous as the creator of Gotham as director and showrunner, while Joe Dante serves as an advisor, bringing his expertise and perspective to the franchise.
