Sergeant PJ Collins is the anxious kind. He is determined to prevent conflict within the tiny Irish village of Cork which he supervises by avoiding a dispute with neighbors about the shade of a house. If the job becomes too tiring, he settles in his car and takes a bite to eat. A man with an imposing body and a gentle heart who is able to keep his distance from the world and divides his time between meals and work.
the Head of Drama of ITV Polly Hill said: Graham’s fantastic book has been superbly presented through Dom And Karen. Conleth Hill will be the best PJ in this hilarious and insightful glimpse into the daily life of a tiny village Irish community. This is a testament to the quality of the scripts Kathy Burke is directing and it’s going to be thrilling to witness her bring this film to the screen
