Invasion is a science-fiction series that is based on the classic tale of HG Wells’ War of the Worlds. The series follows a variety of characters and families from five continents, revealing the way they’re dealing with an alien threat.

The opening episode, entitled Last Day, follows a route that is similar to the film short style and concludes with the sheriff telling his tale. This disease is believed to be responsible for several deaths, but very not much is known about the cause. Invasion Season 2 premieres in Apple TV+ 23 August 2023.
