The brand new HBO Max program is named in honor of Julia and is influenced by Julia Child’s life-changing experiences.

Lancashire captures Child’s powerful voice and friendly, yet strong manner of speaking as she continues to move through with her series despite the threat of criticism from TV executive who believe that cooking is unworthy of airtime and Child not a good model for her sense of humor. But, as she climbs towards the summit, she is supported by her husband, who is seen all through the film to encourage her whenever she’s on the set.

The look into her life, marriage and her groundbreaking career that changed the ways we discuss food is truly a pleasure.
