A couple of young people are separated and the story centers around their interactions with the affected and their attempts to meet with the infected. It’s probably the most gruesome film I’ve ever seen. throats are punctured and bodies are sucked alive. In a subway car, severed vessels and jugular veins spray passengers with blood. more are bitten by the virus that is mutated.

These aren’t Zombies (though they do attack brains) They live, but are dead when they’re killed. They laugh maniacally as they assault, kill torture and even kill, yet they appear to keep their intelligence and ability to think independently from the inexplicably violent violence. This is not a movie for the fainthearted or squeamish and kilometers of intestines are scattered across a vast swathe of gore.
