The actor is back in his Australian home country to play in a brand new eight-part Disney+ drama, “The Last Days of the Space Age.” It’s also worth noting that it’s about as far from “Chicago Fire” as you could get, although there’s two or three hells added in. According to Collider the show takes place within Perth, Western Australia, in the latter part of the 1970s. The show combines the Miss Universe pageant, a vast blackout that is sweeping across the globe and the launch of an American Space Station that slams out of the sky and explodes onto Earth.

Set in 1979 Western Australia. A power strike could bring the area into darkness, and the city is home to the iconic Miss Universe pageant and the US space station, Skylab, crashes just beyond the suburbs of the city.
