Like its predecessors, Detroit will present a brand new group of vibrant African-American community members, leaders, and other black people into their new home in the Motor City as they address their families, relationships, and personal friendships. This new city is about friendship, family as well as business, quality, and of course the love of marriage.
Russell and Kolby Harris are a couple of young age they have been in a relationship for three years and have a two-year-old daughter. As he believes he is the head of the household, Russell makes the decision to attend divinity school without consulting with his wife and Kolby believes she should be more involved in these crucial family decision-making processes. She is the child of a pastor and she isn’t certain if she would like to return to the world of her father the second time as an adult.
