Marcella is a Crime-Drama TV Series. Anna Friel, Ray Panthaki, Nina Sosanya are the main cast of Marcella Season 3. To say that the characters in the series are ‘interesting’ is an understatement of what angst can do as entertainment. It seems the lesson is, it takes a psycho cop to catch the psycho killers.

Marcella is an emotionally disturbed character but true to her work. Very diligent and committed. Very many characters introduced but they are not thoroughly fleshed out. Feels like they were misplaced in the script at times. Too many questions left at the end of each season when the mystery is solved. It is apparent to me that Marcella keeps blacking out because she is the only one dressed for winter for much of the show. People walk past her in shorts and t-shirts and there’s Marcella in a long coat with a sweater and shirt on underneath.

None of her colleagues are in winter clothes, nor her husband, her kids, or the suspects. Seriously though, I have just finished season two and it’s just become a completely unbelievable mess. It’s hard to find a character to like. The husband is a psycho, the kids apathetic and hateful by turns. It is about Marcella, a detective who investigates a serial killer of children and goes through a complete upheaval in her personal life.
