The show is very interesting and its story brings, if you will, all humanity together without any strings attached and it tries to imply to the viewer how peace & respect towards all mankind is the simplest way out. The context and the way this story evolves throughout is beautiful and for me a talent and credits go out, to the actors, directors, writers and crew.
The spirituality this show awakens within you is so awe-inspiring. The way this show has been scripted’ acted and shot is a thing of beauty. Its not insinuating that ‘Christianity, Islam or Judaism is the right faith and if you don’t follow, you will burn in hell or anything. This reckoning is not to point fingers at different faiths, or to be prejudice but to open minds to know. We are all brothers and sisters. Just so good. As a person who believes in love and truth and God outside of labels but is also human, I felt all the beats of the show. This series is absolutely genius at every level. A great premise that evokes the same division of faith and skepticism that the original Jesus did. Superb script writing that leaves you guessing throughout the series until the (mostly) satisfying resolution in the last five minutes.
Great depth of characters and acting where the messianic figure portrays a character that is radical and provocative, but yet closer to the character of the biblical Jesus than we typically see in Bible-based productions. Respectful to the Christian, skeptic and Muslim alike, with a great depth of insight, but intensely provocative to those whose God is just a means to prop up their cultural identity.
