Metal Lords tells the story of two high schoolers (Jaeden Martell, and Adrian Greensmith) who form an ensemble of metal and hire an instrumentalist (Isis Hainsworth) to form their trio in the hope of winning their local Battle of the Bands. It’s not an outlandish concept for Weiss to investigate the world of metal. He did, after all, get Mastodon’s gang members on to appear as the wildlings in an episode of Got and also in another episode, the White Walkers in another.

Two teenagers want to form an e-metal group at a high school where two of them enjoy this kind of music. They aren’t able to have a bassist however, they discover one with a cello. Now, the focus is to put in the effort to beat the Battle of the Bands. The film was written and directed by Peter Sollett (Freeheld) and written by DB Weiss (Game of Thrones).
