With her father Ramon (played by Cosio) and her brothers Marcus (Calva) and Julito (Bautista), Marigaby provides a multitude of people with medical emergencies of extreme severity in order to earn an income.
This project was an inspiration from the documentary “Midnight Family,” that is about the Ochoa family and their private ambulance service in Mexico City. The show will consist of 10 episodes, and is produced by Natalia Beristain.
It is important to note that the show was developed in the hands of Gibran Portela (La Jaula de Oro) and Julio Rojas (La Jauria). However, they are executive producers not but Pablo Larrain (Spencer) and Juan de Dios Larrain (A Fantastic Woman). Yalitza Aparicio was back in the acting world along with the great actor Joaquin Cosio for ‘Midnight Family”, the premiere Apple TV series that will entirely in Spanish.

Marigaby Tamayo is an ambitious medical student who is spending her days saving lives across the sprawling, stark and intriguing Mexico City aboard her family’s privately-owned ambulance.
