The story follows Larry whom, even being aware that the statues located on the site are alive when the museum is closed every night, has to deal with unexpected twists, plots and surprises when the mad Kahmunrah escapes and executes his plan to open the Egyptian underworld and liberate its Army of the Dead. Larry Daley (Stiller) is an honest man who accepts an evening job as a watchman in the natural history museum.
