The film was initially being made at Blue Sky Studios (home of the Ice Age films), and was a few months away from being completed when Disney purchased the parent of Blue Sky’s company 20th Century Fox – canceled the project. Moretz will play the title hero, and Yang and Ahmed will play Ambrosius Goldloin as well as Ballister Boldheart, respectively.
