Run the Burbs follows the Phams as a frank young Vietnamese South Asian family who have a different way of enjoying life to the maximum, while also changing how we think about modern family values and the suburban lifestyle.

Andrew Phung, Rakhee Morzaria, Ali Hassan are the main cast of Run the Burbs TV Series (2023). It follows on from her triumphant show at Montreal’s Just for Laughs festival, her debut at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, and the 40-theater North American tour with Ronny Chieng. The show, which is scheduled to be hosted by a yet-to-be-determined host.

It also echoes his work. Rest Kim is the light-hearted comedy of the lives of a Korean family living in Toronto which ended abruptly in the year following five seasons. Although it might appear like a sensible decision for a producer-writer who has been awarded four times the Canadian Screen Award four times but that’s only looking at his work… the rest Kim. Fong noticed something different.
