School Spirits is such a captivating story that it was made into a film before the graphic novel that it’s based upon was released. Written by Nate and Megan Trinrud and Maria Nguyen The graphic novel could appear on shelves once the show premiere. A teenage girl living in the afterlife investigates the mystery of her disappearance. Maddie begins a detective journey to adjust to life after death in the post-life.

The video follows List’s Maddie as she finds herself in the Afterlife support group made up of adolescents who cannot escape the place in which they were killed. With the assistance of the members of the club, she’ll investigate her own murder and figure out who was the mysterious person responsible for ruining her life. The eight-episode series will air next year exclusively via Paramount+.
