Here how’s it going, guys. I’m Mark, I know here for the latest on Selena Gomez. As you all know Selena Gomez is currently making the press rounds since her album release. Most recently sat down with Billboard for quite an emotional interview. Selena admitted with her new album she wanted people to feel something whether that was gaining your confidence back going through a tough relationship or being okay.
With just having fun Selena said there’s a lot of layers to her album. She’s grateful for the final product however just because Selena seems happy with the album. It doesn’t mean that some tracks weren’t harder to make than others for example with vulnerable. Selena said quote it’s saying after completely being depleted from life.
Whatever I turned bitter for a while I was extremely bitter and very dry I was disconnected to my feelings for so long. Selena went on to say, however through therapy she learned to talk through everything and realized that giving herself to people isn’t a weakness.
It’s being vulnerable which is strength another track Selena notes that was difficult is the one that makes a lot of sense lose you to love me. Selena opened up about not being in the best place when that song was created saying quote when I wrote that song I was kind of a mess. It was really difficult for me well you think.
It would be difficult to relive those moments every time. You hear or have to perform either of those songs. Selena says after waiting so long to release them. They now mean something different to her which is partially why she held off on putting the album out to the world for a bit.
Lena said, quote I didn’t want to be triggered by the same things. I wanted to get out what I was feeling and then I wanted to celebrate it and that’s what happened all right.
