Star Trek: Discovery Season 5 Episode 8 Plot:
With Moll and L’ak ultimately in custody, the Federation is pulled right into a diplomatic and ethical firestorm when the Breen arrive and call for they be exceeded over. Meanwhile, a frustrated Book appears for ways to assist as Tilly, Adira, and Reno work to decipher the latest clue.
What is the Star Trek: Discovery About:
Discovery is not Star Trek or The Next Generation. That formula has grown stale. Yuck. Discovery has a different look and feels and tries to tell a different type of story. Diversity is a good thing. More women in command, and damaged souls trying to be heroic is a much more interesting recipe then the old sci-fi paradigm where every character is GI Joe.
First of all, the cast is superb. Step aside Janeway, Michael Burnham is the best female lead from any Trek show period, although Mariner from Lower Decks gives her a run for her money. They also managed to get the greatest female action star of all time (Michelle Yeoh) in an awesome supporting role that thinks is her best character since Wai Lin in Tomorrow Never Dies, who was arguably the best Bond girl ever.
