The story follows an ensemble of actors and actresses who are struggling to finish a film (the previously mentioned ‘Beasts Of The Crags’ ) while stuck in the hotel because of the pandemic bubble. It is believed that the idea came to Apatow after he learned about the struggles of those who shot ‘JurassicWorld Dominion’. It was an epic shoot that was filled with quarantine procedures and delays because of different results for the coronavirus.
The show is said to be is based on the actual production of “Jurassic World: Dominion,” which was plagued with pandemic-related problems that caused the production to be within the UK for a period of time. As with many of Apatow’s comedies, “The Bubble” stars an impressive ensemble of actors. Alongside Gillan, Pascal, Duchovny, and Mann the film features Mann’s daughter Apatow, Iris Apatow, Fred Armisen, Maria Bakalova, Keegan-Michael Key, Peter Serafinowicz, Vir Das, and Rob Delaney.
