For all the wholesome cheesiness of much of the film, you’d have to have a pretty hard heart not to be touched by it. The Call of the Wild cast: Karen Gillan, Harrison Ford, Cara Gee. Chris Sanders’s “The Call of the Wild” is so great. It successfully portrays Buck’s journey, capturing both the spirit of adventure as well as the more brutal scenes in Jack London’s classic novel. The Call of the Wild doesn’t have a particularly novel take on the classic tale, but it does feature solid work from Harrison Ford and a fabulous notion capture performance from Terry Notary as Buck.

Buck will steal your heart as Jack London’s 1903 short novel, The Call of the Wild comes to the big screen this weekend. Kimmel was joking about the title of Ford’s new film, Call of the Wild, and held up a faux magazine cover with quotes from Trump about the film being the “best call ever. It’s not The Jungle Book, but the character animation on Buck the dog is amazing, the CGI landscapes less so.

“The film’s avoidance of cruel Gold Rush realities is more than made up for by its spirited kineticism and by its deepening of the man-dog bond that forms the heart of London’s story.” The Call of the Wild cast: Karen Gillan, Harrison Ford, Cara Gee. The Call of the Wild Release Date: 21 February 2020.

The Call of the Wild Budget: $109 million. Its breathtaking natural beauty is matched only by its abundant opportunities for wildlife encounters. Extend your trip in Alaska with a pre- or post-cruise excursion to this iconic national park.
