Willie Pep is aware of his boxing prowess but what about it considering that he’s 40 There is no reason to employ him. And both he and his wife Linda who is an actress aspirations (but is fairly skilled in this field) are arguing every now and then.
As she ascends the ladder to success, Alice has to overcome many obstacles, both inside and outside of the boxing ring. Being a victim of gender discrimination as well as stress from family members, and the pressures of the boxing world are a constant struggle for Alice. But, Alice finds strength in her passion for boxing and in her drive to prove to the world that women can be excellent boxers.
Kolodny is making his first appearance as a film director for feature films. He won a New York Emmy in the Information/Instructional category for Frankie Cooks. He’s also being considered for an News and Documentary Emmy Award for the 2022 film The Procession.

In 1964, a camera crew tracks Willie Pep, retired featherweight boxing champion. In and out of Hartford CT, married to an older woman and with a drug-addled child and a mounting debt, Pep decides to make his return to the fight ring.
