The film was created by Oscar-nominated Jane Rosenthal (The Irishman), Emmy nominee Berry Welsh (The Irishman) as well as Oscar nomination Aaron Ryder (Arrival) of FilmNation Entertainment. The executive producers are Erika Hampson Steve Samuels, Christos V. Konstantakopoulos Holly Bario, and Participant’s Jeff Skoll and Robert Kessel. Amblin Partners and Participant sold the rights to film to Lionsgate and Roadside in June, with the latter holding the international rights for distribution.
