The film introduces us to the pilot who is shot down during his mission in Afghanistan and after being lowered to the ground, she finds refuge in an abandoned bunker. It appears to be a lab where they perform genetic tests. It is also where something unimaginable is about to come to life.
However, there’s something to be aware of prior to watching this film. That is the fact that these influences are combined into a setting that smells of VHS from the 80s and film that proudly displayed its bloody covers on the shelves of every video store packed with blockbusters. The Lair, a film that combines terror and action was produced by Neil Marshal.

The story is not a context to the story. There is no background information. It is evident that the lead actress is quite uninteresting. However, the most embarrassing is the overacting of the remaining cast members and the instances that trigger undoubtedly intentional laughter. There’s almost as much blood as unintentionally racist statements. Marshall attempts to return to his ‘Dog Soldiers’ exploitation of the old military model in which every member has an issue, and we do not care about it because we know that they’re flesh for beasts. This doesn’t work.
