Netflix has revealed its official trailer of Alanna Brown’s debut film, Trees of Peace, a film that is based on real incidents that occurred during the Rwandan genocide of the 1990s. Written and directed by Brown it follows the story of four girls of diverse backgrounds who develop irresistible bonds as they hide from the horrifying incidents of the genocide that took place in Rwanda.

In April of 1994, four ladies from various foundations and convictions are caught and stowing away during the Genocide Against the Tutsi in Rwanda. Their battle for endurance despite everything joins the ladies in a solid sisterhood.
