The series began in 2012 and followed the same plot that involved an armed gang of criminals recruited to purchase the rare VHS tape. Every film in the anthology is a horror film that tells terrifying and supernatural tales by watching these tapes.

The film, which is distributed by Shudder and accompanied by the terrifying stories of horror from found footage takes the viewers to a gruesome adventure through the classic franchise’s dark and terrifying world.
