It follows the story of Bea Johnson from birth until graduation, and with the father who has an intellectual disability, which means she doesn’t just have to strive to become an adult woman and also manage the burden of managing all household chores and adult tasks that parents can’t handle as well as dealing with the complicated family who can’t decide on the best method to assist.
