What is the Acapulco About:
Acapulco is the story of a younger Mexican (Enrique Arrizon) who realizes his dream when he accepts a position in the hip resort in Acapulco, Mexico. However, the young man finds out that the job is more complex than he imagined as the morals and beliefs of his fellow workers are challenged.
The show was created by Austin Winsberg, Eduardo Cisneros, and Jason Shuman, who are also executive producers. Chris Harris is the showrunner and Jay Karas directs and produces the series.
Maximo must be able to cope with the demands of his clients as well as a difficult mentor and a complicated family, all the while trying to keep his path. Never give into temptations. The show explores the cost we’re willing to pay to see dreams become reality. The second season begins just after what happened in the previous season and follows the life of twentysomething Maximo Gallardo, whose dream is realized when he gets the job of his dreams as a cabin monitor in Acapulco’s top hotel, Las Hills.
