This book is released as a freebie only during the first week after the release of the film, and will be limited in size. The manga’s creator Yuki Tabata serves as the film’s chief supervisor as well as creator of the character.

The film is handled by the team members from the TV anime which includes Ayataka Tanemura in charge of the film, Itsuko Takeda designing the characters, and Minako Seki, who composes the music. Manaless and orphaned, Asta instead trains his physical strength in order to keep up with the rest of his friends, while his closest companion Yuno is an infant genius born with incredible magical strength and talent.
Tabata will serve as the principal overseer of the adaptation, and he will be responsible for design of the character concepts as he did during the film’s making.
