Disney+ It’s A Dog’s Life With Bill Farmer – Review. Even that only the second episode is the one that’s actually available so essentially what I’m trying to say to you here is that this video review will be short but why do I still want to share my thoughts about it with you.
It’s simple really it’s because I’m a dog person don’t get me wrong cats are adorable and all. I don’t hate cats but I prefer dogs. I will choose dogs over cats any day of the week yes siree Bob meet bill farmer a Disney Legend who has voiced the characters of Goofy and Pluto for more than 30 years.
He now steps out from behind the microphone to meet his own favorite characters man’s best friend dogs join bill as he crosses the country meeting dogs doing all kinds of incredible jobs. You gotta admit they could not have picked a better host for this docu-series. Bill farmer doesn’t only have that Pluto connection clearly he’s very comfortable around dogs and vice-versa he genuinely cares about them. He’s very personable he knows how to convey things in an easily digestible way.
That’s both a user and informative the episode that I got the screen is divided into three segments but with one underlying theme helper dogs the first one focuses on dogs that help a zoo to raise awareness about wild cheetahs by pairing up those dogs. Those cheetahs ever since they were just tiny pups and kittens.
This is the part that kind of fascinates and scares me a bit because you don’t know at which age the Cheetah’s wild carnivore instinct might kick in so while. It’s fun and cute to see the dog and the cheetah running together across the field chasing a ball one of these days that friendship is no longer possible since one of them will be hungry to eat the other the second segment will melt your heart.
A dog that helps this kid that has a health condition and what makes this kid extra special is that he wants to grow up to be a voice-over actor like bill farmer so at one point bill takes this kid to a recording studio and puts his voice acting talent to the test. Throughout the whole time, the dog never leaves the kids to side faithfully.
You can’t think of a more fun-filled trip than that it must have felt like a dream come true for the kid. A last segment is a man who tells his story of how his dog plays a big role in him fixing his relationship with his girlfriend and ultimately marrying her you might want to grab a box of Kleenex tissue for this one.
A slight chance of Tears is a possible overall the purpose of this doc. Your series is to highlight and celebrate the contributions that dogs have in our lives. This show is sweet it’s uplifting it’s a dog’s life with bill farmer will give you that warm fuzzy feeling as it goes straight for your heart.
