This British actress will appear in Hotel Portofino, an intriguing show produced by PBS which is a public television station across the United States. The actress will be with Mark Umbers (Home Fires) and Anna Chancellor (Four Weddings and a Funeral). Natascha McElhone is playing Bella Ainsworth, the daughter of a rich industrialist, who relocates to Italy to establish an English-style hotel in the gorgeous city of Portofino with her aristocratic father.

It was a very dark period, that’s why I decided to write something candidly romantic and fun,” its creator and writer, Matt Baker, shared with Cineuropa. He also noted that the executive producers of the show had discussed the idea of putting together an action series in Italy’s Italian Riviera ever since they attended the Liguria Film Festival a few years ago.
