Soon, it will be ‘Never ever Stranger Things ‘ – at the very least in the format. Directors Matt along with Ross Duffer have mentioned several times over the years that the show will remain in one form or another shortly, perhaps with the shape of an animated series.

However, the story about Eleven will close following the fifth season scheduled to air in the coming months. The crew and cast will be returning to the set, but who will be the directors to have the privilege of being part of this epic finale?

Eight episodes will be recorded with five of them to have the Duffer brothers’ direction. They will also direct one extra consumed Shawn Levy and, according to reviewer Jeff Sneider, Frank Darabont ( The Walking Dead, The Condemned ) will put together two.

Eight episodes, four directors

In the beginning, Dan Trachtenberg ( Prey, 10 Cloverfield Lane ) was also considered a director candidate, however, due to schedule conflicts they weren’t able to get together at the time. Is Darabont an appropriate replacement?

Season 7 of Stranger Things only contains eight episodes, but a few are set to be turned into feature films. Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, David Harbor and Winona Ryder will all return to fight the evil Vecna together. Are they able to stop the villain from bringing devastation to the entire city of Hawkins? The first release is on January 20, 2024. The countdown is now on!
