On Monday, streaming platform Amazon Prime Video released a nearly two-and-a-half-minute trailer for the third season of the action-packed series. The trailer begins with a spooky and eerie scene where the famous Homelander, the superhero Homelander promises to open people with the “real me” while emphasizing that he’s a normal human who is to love his “wrong woman”.

Jensen Ackles and Sean Patrick Flanery are brand new to the ensemble in The Boys Season 3, with Karl Urban as Butcher, Jack Quaid’s civilian character from The Boys Hughie Campbell, and Antony Starr as Homelander. Ackies portrays Soldier Boy who is one of the most popular superheroes with a rich tradition. In the meantime, Flanery portrays Gunpowder and is inspired to Judge Dredd.

A comic book adaptation written by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, “The Boys” takes place in the world of superheroes sabotaging their own talents and their reputations. In the show, The Seven, the group is known as The Seven, one of the superheroes that is owned by the company Vought International, is a scumbag who abuses their power. The show follows the Boys who are a group of vigilantes led by brutal Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) who are determined to destroy Vought as well as the aforementioned superhero team called the Seven which is which is led by the savage Homelander (Antony Starr).
