The character is caught up in a fictional world with the task of supplying beer to his fellow soldiers who were during the Vietnam War. The reason is that this movie is not a fan of the pros of the medium mentioned earlier even though it is true that both are based upon an actual story, The Greatest Beer Run Ever isn’t able to have a specific goal regarding the story it intends to tell. Zac Efron plays John Donohue, one of the men who choose to leave his life of peace at home in New York to travel to Vietnam with one purpose of bringing his favorite beer to his fellow workers in the area that was in the front of the conflict.
“The Most Amazing Beer Run You’ve Ever Seen” moves and wiggles in a variety of ways, not just due to the fact that it’s not evident. What we’re witnessing from a human perspective isn’t even half as interesting and quite unintentional. Much like “Green Book”,” “Greatest Beer Run” is inspired by a true tale, but Peter Farrelly’s reaction to the story is translated into the form of a symbolic “relevant” Boomer nostalgia that’s still not completely thought-through.
