The series created a studio with over 2000 sq m in Tenerife in order to build Polaris VI on the model of the polar stations that are currently in operation. In this dark and spooky action film, scientists maintain in operation the Polaris VI International Station in Antarctica operating throughout the long winter polar cold. One day, however, the station ceases to communicate with the outside world.
Also, there is Richard Sammel, who we are familiar with from France. In the show, English, Danish, Swedish, and Spanish are all spoken simultaneously. Filming was done on the island of Tenerife in the Canary Islands where the Polaris VI research station was constructed by hand on the 2000m elevation. It was hard to imagine the freezing temperatures during the summer heat! The script is written by Alex David Pastor and David Pastor and directed by Jorge Dorado.
