The Rain is, yes, another post-apocalyptic story, which has been done-to-death already but still it is a fresh take on this genre. There are lots of unexpected turns & twists and the most impressive part is the human element; not just the blood & gore which is the norm of this genre. The characters and their pasts are very well defined which ensures the viewer is connected to all of them. It definitely is an entertaining series that deserves to be watched.
