Scanlan is who is a Merseysider born in the city, is extremely pleased with her Welsh heritage. She does a wonderful job on the fact that she is Welsh even though the strain is a distraction from the focus of her performance. However, Scanlan is a star now and you can tell she can be in any language, and that’s enough to make her stand out from the typical features of Welsh dramas of this kind to the point of being a bit sloppy both in terms of film and the screenplay.
