Furthermore, Deadline reports that Zatima has added three regulars to the series. Cameron Fuller ( The Last Ship ) will be playing Nathan Zac, who is one of Zac’s basketball buddies, his wife Lori. Tyler Perry’s Zatima will be starring Devale Ellis as well as Crystal Renee Hayslett. The show will run for an hour and follows the couple through the changes and ups in their relationship.

This morning, BET+ along with Tyler Perry Studios announced that they have received the green light to BET+’s brand new original drama Tyler Perry’s Zatima which is a spin-off from the most popular scripted TV series for Black viewers Tyler Perry’s Sistas. The series of 10 hours follows the well-known characters “Zac” who is played by Devale Ellis and “Fatima” played by Crystal Renee Hayslett as they traverse the highs and lows that come with their relationships. Zatima is the second spinoff from a Tyler Perry linear show to receive approval from BET+.
