Saturday Night Live went to a galaxy far away for its first episode back with Adam driver at the hosting helm. Adam Driver ‘Cheer’ Parody On ‘SNL’, Returns as Kylo Ren. The actor who’s hosted the NBC sketch comedy show twice before opted for a more subdued monologue. Claiming to be way more low-key than the characters he plays.
Now with driver hosting, of course, that meant kylo Ren made his big return to the SML stage going undercover. Once again in a hilarious follow-up to his 2017 parody of Undercover Boss. The new iteration followed the same premise with the driver playing the Sith Lord going undercover as an intern named Randy.
Drivers Ren’s Randy say that five times fast try keeping up appearances as a millennial intern but when a pilot hopeful said. She wanted to fly like Luke Skywalker he took her out with his lightsaber driver also lent a hand to a number of sketches throughout the night. Including a cheerleading coach and a parody of the popular new Netflix, docu-series cheer a father awkwardly confronting a bunch of teen girls at a sleepover.
The host of a PBS KIDS science program among other drivers also popped in for SNL’s cold open which tackled President Trump’s impeachment proceedings Alec Baldwin did not show up as Trump. Jon Lovitz made a surprise cameo as Trump defense lawyer Alan Dershowitz midway through the sketch.
levitz Dershowitz had a heart attack and was transported to Hell. where he was greeted by the devil played by Kate McKinnon and Jeffrey Epstein. Elsewhere Melissa Bella signora dropped by the Weekend Update desk to sing her original Oscar songs. Noticed a reoccurring theme with a lot of the nominated films. Alright for more on this weekend’s SNL hits a t-chart.
